Saint Joseph School, an elementary school located in Martinsburg, West Virginia, serves three hundred fifty students in grades Pre-Kindergarten 4 through Eighth grade. The school serves four Catholic parishes in the 530 sq. miles of the Eastern Panhandle. Fourteen percent of our students come from other denominations. Martinsburg is located in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia and is a micropolitan community of the Washington D.C. metro area. Saint Joseph School, the only Catholic school in the Eastern Panhandle, is one of thirty-two schools in the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, West Virginia. About 11% of our graduates attend Catholic High School and the remaining 89% attend local public high schools.
